About Dr. Meadors, Dentist for Children

Dr. Meadors is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who has served
the dental needs of children in the Treasure Valley since 1994. He
received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oral Roberts
University School of Dentistry in 1982, graduating at the top of his
class. He practiced general dentistry for 8 years, both in private
practice and on active duty in the U. S. Army Dental Corps prior to
specializing in Pediatric Dentistry. He received his certificate in
Pediatric Dentistry after completing a 2 year Pediatric Dentistry
Residency Program at Fort Lewis, Washington and Madigan Army
Hospital in 1992. Dr. Meadors also holds a bachelors degree in
Zoology from the University of California at Davis as well as
completing an additional year of postbaccalaureate studies in
biological sciences at California State University in Sacramento.
Dr. Meadors has served as a Pediatric Dentistry mentor in US Army
General Dentistry Residency programs, has been on staff at several
hospitals and currently is on active staff at St. Luke's Regional
Medical Center. He has served as Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at
Fort Riley Kansas and as Section Chief of Dentistry at St. Luke's
Regional Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the American Board
of Pediatric Dentistry, member of the American Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry, The College of Diplomates of the ABPD, The
American Dental Association, The Idaho State Dental Assoication
and the Southwest Idaho Dental Society.
Dr. Meadors and his wife have 2 grown children and one delightful
grandson. His hobbies include fly fishing, hiking, and spending
time with his family.
